
ACTIVITY CENTER UPDATE Construction has begun...photos available.
Beginning March 1st, we will be scheduling Pre-K screenings for the 2012-13
school year. A child must be 4 years of age prior to Sept. 1, 2012 to be eligible
for Pre-K enrollment. Contact Mrs. Criner or Mrs. Allen to schedule a
screening appointment at 918-733-2531.
Please make sure your child has turned in
all library books and all balances are
paid regarding lunch bills, lost books, etc. before
school is dismissed May 18th.
Twin Hills Kindergarten & 8th Grade Graduation DVD order form (pdf format)
May 10 8th Grade Graduation at 7:00pm in the gym. 5th, 6th, & 7th graders will need to arrive at the gym by 6:30pm and will be singing. A photographer has been hired to take individual and group pictures before the graduation. We would like all students wishing to take individual pictures to arrive at 6:00 PM and would like all 8th grade students to be ready to take group pictures at 6:30 PM. There will be a dance and party following the graduation for 7th and 8th grade students that will last until midnight in the new cafeteria. No students will be allowed to leave the cafeteria after the party has started. No students other than 7th and 8th graders at Twin Hills and office approved chaperones will be allowed in the cafeteria. Everyone else will be asked to leave the school grounds immediately following the graduation. No brothers, sisters, grandchildren or previous graduates of Twin Hills will be allowed to attend this party or hang around outside. Dances will be strictly monitored for appropriateness. Please pick your child up promptly at midnight, as everyone will be tired and ready to go home.
May 11 Field Trip: Pre-K & Kindergarten classes will be leaving for Bounce U immediately after breakfast. (A permission form must be returned before your child can participate at Bounce U.) They will stop for lunch at Mazzio’s before returning to school.Twin Hills employees will chaperone the trip
May 11 Land Run: The fourth graders are going to have a land run day. They may dress in pioneer or western wear and bring snacks for the afternoon.
May 15 No Late Work Assembly and special treat for those students having no late work all year. Those with no late work for the year will be going on a field trip and picnic. The bus will return before school is dismissed.
May 16 Field Trip: 5th & 6th grades are going skating and bowling in Muskogee. Students may bring their own lunch or money for concessions. The students will return at 3:00pm
May 16 Field Trip: 7th Grade to Driller’s Stadium in Tulsa.
Field Trip: 8th Grade will leave for OKC at 8:00am The students are going to the capitol building, Omniplex, and Bricktown to see a movie
May 17 NO SCHOOL Teacher Workshop
May 18 Awards assembly will begin at 8:45 a.m. for 1st – 8th grades. The buses will run and pick up students at the regular time. Before school study will be held at 6:30 a.m. as usual. Students will eat breakfast then go the gym for the awards assembly. Students will ride the bus home immediately following the assembly. We estimate the students will be leaving the school by 10:00 a.m. Students who have not paid outstanding lunch fees and overdue books will not be allowed to receive their report cards on this day.

HIV Education will be offered to the students grades 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th in April following state testing. Please contact Mrs. Allen if you would like to review the education material or do not wish your child participate. Ph# 918-733-2531
